據歐盟食品安全局（EFSA）消息，7月25日歐盟食品安全局針對雙酚A的潛在健康風險意見草案開始了第一階段公眾咨詢。第一階段咨詢著重于歐盟暴露于雙酚A風險的更新及綜合評價，所有利益相關者可于2013年9月15日前提交意見。

The first stage of the consultation looks at EFSA's updated and comprehensive assessment of exposure to BPA in Europe. All stakeholders are invited to provide comments from 25 July to 15 September 2013.
In the second stage of the consultation scheduled for early 2014, EFSA will consult publicly on the human health aspects of its risk assessment.
When EFSA publishes its opinion on BPA - following consideration of comments received from these consultations - the Food Standards Agency will consider, along with the European Commission and EU Member States, whether action is necessary to protect consumers.
