    據(jù)歐盟食品安全局(EFSA)消息,應歐委會的要求,7月6日歐盟食品安全局再次評估了果膠和酰胺化果膠作為食品添加劑的安全性并發(fā)布意見。 
    歐盟專家組經(jīng)過分析認為,果膠(E 440i)和酰胺化果膠(E 440ii)作為普通食品的添加劑具有一定安全性,在目前的使用范圍和使用量下對人體沒有安全隱患,無需設置每日允許攝入量(ADI)。

    Following a request from the European Commission, the EFSA Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient sources added to Food (ANS) was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the re-evaluation of pectin (E 440i) and amidated pectin (E 440ii) as food additives. An acceptable daily intake (ADI) 'not specified' was allocated by the Scientific Committee for Food (SCF) for E 440i and E 440ii. Pectin and amidated pectin would not be absorbed intact, but extensively fermented by intestinal microbiota in animals and humans; products formed from pectins in the gastrointestinal tract are similar to manufactured pectin-derived acidic oligosaccharides (pAOS)。
