據外媒報道，加拿大大多倫多區華盛超市（Al Premium Foods）與沃爾瑪（Walmart Supercentre）合作的首家食品連鎖店12月18日正式開業。這是加拿大第一家華人食品超市進駐主流大型連鎖店。
與華盛合作的該家沃爾瑪分店位于士嘉堡地區。華盛超市將在沃爾瑪店內引入多族裔特色，為顧客提供來自14個不同國家及地區，包括東亞、東南亞、印度、中南美洲及地中海等的特色食品。這一舉措也是沃爾瑪“社區商店”（Store of Community）計劃的一部分。
